Work Schedule - Shaana:
I designed this work schedule to balance our time so that everything is done properly and the tasks are carried out efficiently. This timetable allowed us to be more efficient when it came to completing our coursework as if we were confused or weren't sure what we had or hadn't completed by simply glancing at this timetable we are keeping up to date with all of our deadlines.
I colour coded the timetable so that we are aware by how much time we have till the deadline for our coursework.
Filming Schedule:
This filming timetable was constructed judging by the times that both myself and my partner Sharonjit were available to film, we discussed with our film across and realised the more appropriate times to film would be after school so we would have more time and no disruptions Although we did not follow this exactly it became very useful as it gave us a brief outline of when to film.

Storyboard - Shaana:
For our storyboard rather then constructing an ordinary storyboard like other peers we decide to construct a short film. I arranged to take snapshots (using our cannon camera) of our main characters acting out certain scenes. Then using a shot order we previously constructed we arranged each picture in chronological order depending on the shots. We also used text so if some shots were hard to tell what was going on it would narrate the story so that it will be easier for whoever is watching it to understand the storyboard and interpret it how it is suppose to be interpreted I edited this using iMovie, this allowed us to have experience in both iMovie and Final Cut for our coursework.

I designed the storyboard on iMovie using my iPad.
Below are some screenshots of how I used iMovie on my iPad to construct the short film (storyboard).
This icon enabled me to decide which transition I preferred for each shot and
also allowed myself to change the duration of the shot and the transition.

This option allowed me to add or remove text to the shots and also gave
me the option of deleting the pictures which I did not find relevant orwhich did not fit into the media text.
This option allowed me to position the titles wherever I wanted and also
allowed me to change the font to what I believe suited the text.

There were a few difficulties as the iPad application for iMovie is slightly different to the version which is available for the iMacs. It is more complex to use for iPad, however after using it for a certain period of time I got used to the software it became easier to use which will benefit in the future.
I then uploaded the short film from iMovie to YouTube where I embedded the link below for you to watch:

The location shots were taken with my professional canon camera (1100D) which is useful top us as we are using this camera to film our film trailer. We decided to use this camera as it was a camera which I already had experience in using however it offered HD footage which was necessary for us to use for our film trailer.

These 3 are the main actors throughout the whole film and who are shown consistently in the film trailer. Rather than using white or black actors, we gathered from our audience research that Asian's aren't usually casted in a typical Hollywood Rom-Com, so we decided to challenge this media convention by casting Asian actors for our film trailer.
The extras:
Baby Ali (TARA'S FRIENDS LITTLE BROTHER)
Leena Mir (PARTY ASSOCIATE)
Sophia Nair (PARTY ASSOCIATE)
The extras are characters in the film trailer who aren't seen as much however play a valuable role to the film trailer.
