I annotated this poster because it was an action movie poster, and according to my quesstionaire, the make audience liked a bit of action and a sexy, women protagonist.

This film interested me the most because it follows the typical romantic comedy because the couple are both in love but they do not realise because of their class backgrounds however the maid son helps them get together.

              Skills: Ancillary Tasks - Shaana

              Indessign:
When planning my ancillary tasks I was unaware of which software to use. I was in two minds whether or not to use in design or Photoshop; both software’s are very well known.
So I started to research into both software’s, firstly I had started off by watching tutorials on how to use in design on YouTube. It was simple as I could pause and rewind anything i was unsure of and they were very clear when demonstrating how to you each tools.

              Photoshop:
Similarly to in design I also researched into using Photoshop; I watched a few YouTube tutorials
These tutorials also showed me how to use different tools, and also showed me a few techniques which I found quite interesting and would like to apply them to my work.

After experimenting using both software’s we were more comfortable using Photoshop. Photoshop had allowed us to create an effective and professional look. By adding different layers were able to have an image as a background faded and another two images on top. We were able to move around certain things such as the title until we were satisfied with where it was positioned.
              Dreameweaver and WIX.COM
For our ancillary task we have to design a webpage. We researched into both software’s so we knew which to use to construct our website.

We came to the conclusion that Dreamweaver was more original. However we came across many difficulties, we watched a few Youtube tutorials and received help from our teacher however we thought that WIX.com was better suited for us to use.

This tutorial of Photoshop helped me develop skills on cropping out the background of a picture. This specific video helped me learn how to save a selection of a picture using a 'Lasso tool.' Usually when I use photoshop, I always manage to deselect a picture that I have tried to crop, which does waste a lot of time

The dreamweaver tutorial helped me get an idea of how to set up a page and use the HTML codes. However I found that the tutorials were a bit longwinded, as it took to long to get to the main points of how to use dreamweaver. For example it took to long to explain how to do hyperlinks to different pages and how to change the backgrounds and etc.
